The jungle never truly sleeps,but there are nights when it breathes more slowly.That night,the large leaves stood almost motionless,and the insects sang their rhythm in whispers,as if they knew that something new was preparing.The moon was thin and pale,and its light drew long shadows,like unseen paths through the trees.From above,the Zephyr eagle cut the air without a sound.It did not patrol,it felt.The current was changing.The wind brought the smell of hot earth and distant smoke.Not enough to scare.Enough to alert.The jungle had gone through many trials.It had learned to be silent when noise attracts danger.It had learned to hide when strength does not help.It had learned that the little ones can save the big ones and that care lasts longer than courage alone.But each lesson brought new ones,and the peace after victory was often only a bridge.On the branch of the old white-barked tree,Mara the Owl watched the horizon.Her eyes did not follow the movement,but the pattern.The stars were where they should be.The wind was close.But the heat did not recede even after sunset.This was not usual.Below,in the thicket,the younger generation of the jungle slept,not knowing that they would be tested differently from those before them.Not by sudden storms or turbulent waters,but by slow changes,which require patience,cooperation and a clear mind.
